It’s been an interesting week of strong emotions and low moods.
My self-doubt, self- judgement and insecurities have been heavily present this week.
I have felt emotionally battered and bruised by the outside world feeling confusion, despair, anger, disappointment, frustration, heartache and sorrow…
Luckily I have an incredible support system of friends and family but in those times of darkness it’s so easy to feel isolated and disconnected from everyone and everything.
In those moments of heart ache and despair it’s so important to remember to look after ourselves.
It took me a day or 2 to remember to be gentle and kind to myself, to remember that I have a whole list of things that nourish and heal me…
Sometimes it’s sitting with a movie and a bowl full of my favourite crisps, sometimes it’s wrapping myself in my mermaid tail blanket with an inspiring book, other times it’s cooking myself a really nourishing and delicious meal.
Whatever it is you’re going through, remember to look after yourself, be gentle and kind to yourself every day.
You are doing the best you can do.
You are needed and you are so so important.
You are loved and certainly are not alone.
